Comtran Cable will be exhibiting at this year’s National Association of State Fire Marshals (NASFM) Expo in Nashville, TN. The event will be taking place at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel on July 27, 2015.
Comtran will be promoting our VITALink® 2 Hour Fire Resistive Circuit Integrity cables, which are UL 2196 listed. UL pulled this listing from the market in 2012 due to concerns about Zinc in the compound. The NEC has now revised the code UL 2196 to be sold as a system. Comtran is one of the first companies to achieve UL 2196 approval under the new requirements. VITALink® cables are designed to withstand 2 hours in a burning infrastructure while supporting critical systems such as emergency voice-alarm communication and smoke and fire alarm systems (EVAC), Fireman’s telephone and area of refuge communication systems, and visible notification appliances.
Comtran will be located at Table # 18 with brochures, samples and giveaways. Please visit our table to learn more.
